Single Trip Benefits & Prices
Our European breakdown cover with roadside assistance and vehicle recovery is supported by the extensive AXA Assistance network of vetted and approved recovery operators throughout Europe*. Ideal as a top up to your existing UK breakdown cover.
We are able to cover cars, motorcycles or privately owned light vans (private leased or company owned) registered in the UK right up to 15 years old.

European Single Trip Cover Benefits:
Before your travel abroad begins
If you break down or have an accident on your way to the ferry terminal in the UK and it will take at least 8 hours to repair you will be offered either: transport to your destination or, the cost of hiring an alternative car up to £70 per day (£750 in total) or, Accommodation expenses (B & B up to £30 per person, £500 in total).
Roadside Assistance & Towing
We will arrange for a breakdown operator to come out and try to get your vehicle going again. If this isn't possible (within one hour) we will arrange and pay for it together with the driver and up to six passengers to be taken to a suitable garage where you can get repairs made. In the event of attempted theft of your vehicle or its contents, we will pay labour charges and/or replacement parts up to £200 which are required to make it secure.
Replacement Parts
If replacement parts to repair your vehicle are not available locally, we will arrange and pay to have them delivered as soon as reasonably possible.
If you lose the use of your vehicle while abroad
If you have an accident or your vehicle breaks down and it will take more than 8 hours to repair, you will be offered either: transport to your destination or, the cost of hiring an alternative car up to £70 per day (£750 in total) or, Accommodation expenses (B & B up to £30 per person, £500 in total).
If you become ill and cannot drive
If there is nobody else with you who can drive, we will pay for a qualified driver to bring you, your passengers and your vehicle home. (Medical proof required)
If you can't use your vehicle to get home
If, following a breakdown or accident, your vehicle isn't roadworthy by the time you are due to return home, we will pay for suitable transport to get you, your passengers and luggage home. We will also pay up to £150 towards alternative travel costs in the UK while you wait for your own vehicle.
We will also pay for transporting your vehicle home or your chosen repairer in the UK or the cost of a single rail / sea ticket for you to go and fetch your vehicle once it has been repaired or found.
You will also be covered for the cost of and storage charges up to £100 while it is waiting to be repaired or returned home.
If your car keys or house keys are lost or stolen
We will provide cover towards the replacement of car or house keys in the event of them being lost or stolen.
